4th of July

This fourth of July we celebrated by having a picnic in the park with Erika and her husband Nate.  They brought Cadet, a black lab that we got when I was still in high school.  I was surprised to see how much she looked out for Shane, and of course he had a ball with her! It's the first time in a few years I haven't seen fireworks on the fourth but it was a nice evening anyway.
