Yesterday was not so great. I found out that I had to take a test on Thursday after work rather than Friday after work like I had planned. I was not entirely prepared. OK. I wasn't prepared much at all.
I got the to the library to take the test, set up my brand new used three times computer and the screen went caput. So angry. I just put 200 irreplacable pictures of Shane's life on that computer, and didn't have the chance to put them on the external hard drive.
I got on a library computer to take the test and the internet was running SLOOOOWEEER THAAAAAN MOOOLAAAASSESSSSSS.
Every time I answered a question, the internet kicked me out of the test, so I'm not sure how many of my answers really registered.
The teacher didn't have the right answers to select for two questions (I looked them up in the book later).
Nathan called me 3/4 of the way through my test to tell me that Shane had woken up from his nap and was SCREAMING uncontrollably and had been for the last 45 min so could I please come home soon.
I was flustered, frazzled, and unprepared. And I got an 89. SO not happy with myself.
But you know what? I'm even more mad about my pictures.

If it's the pics you got from me, don't sweat it. I have them still! :) And i'm sure they can be retrieved off your computer...
Oh, man, I can so understand. Suz did two on line courses in Niger and every time she went to take her tests, either the electricity would go off or the internet would be down.
I hope you can get everything backed up soon! Glad the solution of taking out the battery seems to be working.
Well, an 89 isn't too bad for all those circumstances!
