Wedding Weekend

This weekend was our "girl's weekend", the weekend that I went with Melissa to help her photograph a wedding.  It was a lot of work, but fun too!  We made the three hour trip on Friday when I got off work and had a little time to check into the hotel and primp before the rehearsal.

After we photographed the rehearsal we were invited to the rehearsal dinner at Applebee's.  They did a champagne toast, but I opted for apple juice like a good mommy.

On Saturday Melissa spent the day with the girls while they got their hair and makeup done.  I went for a swim in the hotel pool when I woke up, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING.  It felt so good on my bones. I wish I had regular access to a pool!  Then I went to Walmart and got a few things that we needed for the wedding. I was in with the boys while they were getting ready for the wedding, and let me tell you, that "bachelor" room STUNK!  Beer, fart, and other unmentionable scents. Thankfully, being men, they were dressed pretty quickly so I wasn't with them for long.  We had to be at the wedding venue by 4, and were there until a little after 9:30 at night. Melissa spent the entire day and I spent about 3/4 of it taking pictures, and we were both exhausted by the end. I felt a little bad because I felt like I wasn't able to give her as much effort as I did at the last wedding, but holy COW it is difficult to be on my feet all day at this point. After the wedding we went and had a much-needed dinner at the Mexican restaurant next to our hotel.  Tamales+Sopapillas=Happy tummy!

On Sunday we woke up to snow. Now, the last week at least has been sunny at in the mid-70's.  And then, this...
